Our work is funded entirely by donations, legacies and proceeds from our shop.
We always have need of donations and we are truly grateful for all that we receive. As well as paying to look after the cats we have for rehoming, the funds also go towards the running and maintenance costs of our charity. As a charity, we have strict controls over how our money is spent, and our accounts are checked annually by an accountant and visible to the public via the Charities Commission website.
You can donate to Thanet Cat Club online via PayPal, using the button here. You don’t need a PayPal account to donate and you can also setup regular payments if you wish.
You can also donate online via the button on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ThanetCatClub
Donate by Cheque
You can make cheques payable to Thanet Cat Club.
These can be handed in at our shop in Broadstairs High Street or sent to our main address: Thanet Cat Club, 92 Albion Road, Broadstairs, Kent CT10 2UT.
If you are UK taxpayer, please print off our Gift Aid Form (PDF) and include this when you give or send us your cheque. This allows us to claim 25p for every £1 donated.
Other Ways to Raise Funds
Raise funds when you shop at over 4,000 retailers
Want to help us raise even more for FREE? Well, now you can just by shopping via Give as you Live Online!
When you shop at over 4,000 top stores including John Lewis & Partners, Expedia and Marks & Spencer via Give as you Live Online, they’ll turn a percentage of your spend into free funds for us!
Simply sign up, search for the retailer and start shopping. It’s that simple!
Fundraise via ebay
We are registered on ebay, so you can now support us when you sell or buy. Look for “Donate a portion to charity” when you list your item. If you buy something with PayPal, there is also an option to add a donation.
We are a bit lonely over on ebay though, so it would be great if you can add us as your favourite here: https://www.charity.ebay.co.uk/charity/Thanet-Cat-Club/3149319
Raise funds when you shop on Amazon (now ceased)
Unfortunately on 20th Februrary 2023, Amazon ceased the AmazonSmile service that benefitted charities directly in favour of their direct investments in programmes that most small local charities will never benefit from.
